CONSTRUCTION OF WHEEL ASSEMBLIES
P.E.'s bearings are deep grooved radial ball bearings constructed of machine tooled full races from solid steel bar stock to fit the fully contoured surface of its precision ground steel balls. All components are then heat treated and zinc plated. Its housings are stamped from #18 or #19 gauge steel and zinc plated for corrosion resistance. All of these manufacturing processes insure that P.E.'s finished products meet or exceed the current AAMA standards for load and life cycle specifications. P.E.'s ball bearing construction supports the heaviest loads and guarantees optimal performance and a long life in the field.
